Heavy Saitama Saisyu Heiki influences in this track, arrangement-wise. Initially I was going to take a prog metal approach with it, but I figured I would like to pay tribute to one of my earliest influences in the metal genre. EoSD always had an oriental flavor to its overall OST, which makes it stand out amongst other Touhou installments. Centennial Festival seems to be one of the more overlooked tracks from the bunch, and it's also one of my top favorite Touhou songs. I wanted to put my own spin to it and give it a more aggressive sound, while being faithful to the festive theme of the original and keep said oriental flavor through traditional Japanese instruments. I hope my interpretation of this track will be interesting!
