A wild hard rock MIDI arrange has appeared~~!! (*explosion* ^^;). Hey everyone, it's Mizuka who is submitting again for this album “Moonstruck Analogy”, having just created this track today~(2021.12.09)~! Once again, I decided to go back to an old arrange of mine from late December 2019, a time when I was experimenting with arranging themes from sources I hadn’t previously arranged anything from, and Kagetsu Tohya was one of them! The theme “Shoujo” / “Girl” / “Maiden” always stuck out to me when thinking about this game, and not just because it’s beautiful sounding~(lol). It was indeed my favorite doujin arranger, Yu- Inai of PHOENIX Project, who made me become interested in this theme after first hearing his atmospheric techno arrange of it in the 2005 album “Undulation -TYPE-MOON Arrange CD-”. He was the artist that got me into making music with MIDI starting in late 2017, but just for that arrange alone, he deserves a special thanks for most likely leading to this track’s creation. Also, I can’t forget about the original composer, Keita Haga, who did a phenomenal job on this theme! It’s one of those musical pieces that I never get bored of listening to despite it being pretty repetitive and simple, because it was so well composed with pure emotion. My original arrange of this theme 2 years ago was a somewhat new experience for me, since it was actually a classical/orchestral arrange, which is a genre I didn’t have much experience with at the time…(and I still don’t…^^;). Inspired by the atmosphere of sadness this theme brings, I named it “Unforgettable Occurrences”, and I had to somehow change the name of the track for this album because it almost sounds like a completely different arrange! (I ended up just replacing “Unforgettable” with “Unavoidable”...yeah…I’m lazy sometimes~^w^). Although it was created out of the base of the old version, this one features no classical/orchestral elements and it is 100% hard rock and synths. Just like the original, it is short, and I couldn’t think of a way to extend it, but I think it sounds complete enough. This is a song that doesn’t need to be long to be considered a song…well…at least I think so…(haha~^^;). Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this work of mine, and please enjoy the rest of the album!! 😄
