The music of Melty Blood had always been something I hugely enjoyed, but during 2021 in the lead up to the release of Type Lumina I found myself really discovering it in a way I never had before. Getting lost playing dozens of rounds with my roommate or friends online is really made special when you select a random stage and get to hear something that you wouldn't hear in any other fighting game. Melty's soundtrack is SO unique track to track, there is no way to know what to expect and I feel that Under the Hidden Moon is one of the best examples of that. For me after listening to it for hours this year I knew I had to attempt a rendition, playing in it myself was the best way to feel personally involved.
