about
"There are very few people who can make their own flowers bloom. If you want to know why, it's because most don't let go of the selfish intention of only making their flower finish blooming. What causes flowers to bloom is the power of the soil. So, don't forget to give back to the soil when you bloom." -Kazami Yuuka, Touhou Kaeidzuka ~ Phantasmagoria of Flower View.
Hi, I made this with the intent of conjuring the image of a flower in bloom. Or, more specifically, the entire lifetime of a flower. From seed to sprout to well aged maturity. As such its pretty long.
Along with its ploddling nature, I designed the track to have multiple climaxes with each one greater than the last. This way there’s a constant feeling of "Rising" despite how the rest of the song goes. Hopefully, I did my job well enough that it’s apparent to the listeners too.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy and within these 14 minutes find something that helps makes your life a little bit better. Be it discovering an engaging line of thought, using it as motivation during your exercise or hobby, or simply zoning out to it as it plays in the background. It's meant for all those things, so do whatever you want.
Though- if you do feel the unshakable need to think about something, I'd like to ask:
Do you feel like you've bloomed yet?
If you haven't, why not? What do you think needs to happen so that you can?
And If you have...
then have you really?
