This track started as ideas for the choruses that popped up pretty much fully formed in my head, and I was really inpired stylistically by the album artwork inspirations collage Robin posted early on to look for a cover artist. For the longest time I wasn't sure exactly what creative direction I wanted for the song, I wanted to make something kinda dancey and electronica, then some alt rock, then math rock... So I ended up doing bits of everything (which is pretty much what I always do :p) which results in this oddball styles patchwork of a song. In addition to my usual influences it's particularly inspired by a what I've been listening to recently, including Radiohead, Tenchio, Vylet Pony, Blue Stahli, Volant, and the Serial Experiments Lain Cyberia Mix album.
